SMOKERS LINES AND FINE WRINKLES

This procedure takes a fine eye and an even more precise touch!

DOES THIS LOOK FAMILIAR?

Whilst we refer to these lines as smokers lines those who don't smoke can also develop them over time as muscles move and skin creases naturally. When this happens it can age your appearance far beyond your years.

Check underneath to show what can be achieved.

THE RIGHT WAY AND THE WRONG WAY

These lines need to be filled in a very specific way to make sure only the part which need filling are done so.

Don't let anybody convince you that getting your lips done is the correct way forward!!

IS IT ONLY LINES ABOVE THE LIP?

We can treat any superficial lines on the face using this type of dermal filler. Typically we see lines around the mouth, cheeks, chin and neck which can all be treated.

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD?

The benefits of this treatment are multifunctional. In the short term the filller will fill out the lines on the surface whilst absorbing water to hydrate the skin and start to improve the quality. In the longer term the stimulation of collagen and elastin that this filler causes will mean the lines get softer and softer over time.

WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS?

Typically, patients are slightly more prone to bruising after this procedure than other dermal filler treatments. We advise patients on a number of ways to minimise this as much as possible.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

This filler will last around 4-6 months but the skin improvements can last much longer. Over time you will need less and less filler.
