Lips are one of the first thing we see at on the face and so they're super important to get right.

At AJ Aesthetics we believe in a more subtle result over 'bigger is better'. We look at where you're starting out what your end goal is and advise from there.
WHAT YOU DON'T WANT
What you don't want is as important as what you do want. We hear clients tell us all the time they've come to us because they want a natural result and don't want 'sausage lips' or 'a big shelf above the lip.'
SIZE, SHAPE, PROPORTION
There is plenty to factor in when considering lips.
We want to do enough where you notice a difference but not too much where they stand out for the wrong reasons.
Some people want more of a cupids bow and others don't.
Proportion is KEY. We never want your top lip to become bigger than your bottom lip.
'I'VE HEARD IT REALLY HURTS'
This is the biggest fear for everybody but for most people its a very manageable procedure. Before treatment we numb up every client thoroughly. Only then will we begin to inject and do so very slowly so make things as comfortable as possible.
Nobody has ever told us it was worse than they expected!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WILL I BRUISE?
The majority of clients have little to no bruising however it's something we could never guarantee. We offer lots of aftercare to try to reduce this after treatment.
HOW OFTEN DO I NEED MY LIPS DOING?
The filler we use typically last between 6 and 12 months and will dissolve slowly and naturally over that period. We need to leave enough time for the lips to settle between treatments but ultimately it's personal preference as to when you have more.
WILL IT BE OBVIOUS?
Typically we like subtle enhancing results over 'bigger is better'. Either way we show you your lips throughout treatment so it'll never be a big surprise.
